Description

Wide-ratio gears and all-purpose tyres makes this Moulton a versatile machine, at home in town or in the country. The Shinmano Alfine gears provide easy shifting and a wider gear range than the TSR 9 speed.

Features

20" Wheels

Small wheels are at the heart of the Moulton concept. Strong and light, they have a low moment of inertia so acceleration is quicker and handling is nimble and fast. Cycling requires less effort thanks to the low aerodynamic drag of the small wheels.

Leading Link Front Fork

A separate floating front fork stirrup is used to keep unsprung weight to a minimum. Stainless steel leading links pivot on composite bearings. And damping is by rigid polyurethane coulomb discs. Damping and ride height are adjustable. No routine maintenance required.

Separable Frame

This model features a separable frame, allowing the bicycles to be easily packed for transprtation or storage. Separation is straightforward and takes no more than 3 minutes. The separation feature in no way compromises the performance of the bicycles, other than adding a little weight.

Dry Cone Rear Suspension

The hollow cone shape reacts to load the rubber in compression and shear, providing a smoothly rising spring rate with integral damping. No maintenance required.
