My first adult bike at 32 was the Townie 7D. It's super easy to ride on with a very comfortable riding position. That being said; it is quite a long bike. The thick tubing (even though it's aluminum) brings the overall weight of the bike to be greater than your average road bike. One of the best features of the townie 7D is their "flat foot technology". Meaning that your riding position is low enough to the ground that when you stop, you are able to easily put your foot down for balance (think of a motorcycle rider at a stop light). The trade off is that you aren't as able to put as much power behind your pedaling as you would in a more standard bicycle seating position. Get the Townie 7D, you won't regret it.
Very beautiful bike!
The bike is stylish. The riding position is upright, which is exactly what I was looking for. The courier delivered it fully assembled. Thanks to Electra managers Rail and Maxim, and the Electra support manager on Ozon, for the advice when buying and all the help I needed!
Great bike, comfortable. The wide saddle doesn't put pressure on you, the height worked for me too, and I liked the upright riding position.
Very stylish bike. I'd been eyeing it for a long time and finally went for it. Haven't regretted it once so far. I especially like the matte color. It's a shame it doesn't come with a rear rack or basket. It arrived assembled. I only needed two Allen keys to adjust the handlebar. Recommended.
Great bike. The only thing is that it arrives packed for delivery and you have to assemble it yourself or call a representative.

The bike is simply wonderful! Looks very stylish. It was delivered to my home by courier. It came in a box with a wooden crate around it, and the bike itself was carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. It arrived fully assembled; all I had to do was adjust the handlebar and saddle. Completely happy with the purchase!
Saw it at GUM and ordered it on Ozon. The seller gave an extra discount on request, and I paid from my Ozon account, so it worked out cheaper. Very comfortable and beautiful bike. It's a huge pleasure to ride! I also have a GT Elite mountain bike that costs more than this one, but I can't stop riding this. My wife rides it now too and really likes it. Looks like I'll have to buy another one. It arrives assembled; you only need to fit the pedals and turn the handlebar into position. A wrench and Allen keys are included. One request: please make a leather saddle bag for the back of the seat, like they used to have in the Soviet Union. It would look really cool. Thanks for such a great bike!
