Description
Aventon Current ADV is designed as an accessible entry point into the world of full-featured electric mountain bikes. It is an eMTB with modern geometry, 29-inch wheels, an Aventon Ultro X mid-drive motor, and suspension built for real trail use.
At the heart of the Current ADV is the Aventon Ultro X mid-drive motor. It delivers 110 Nm of torque, and up to 120 Nm in Boost Mode. This level of power helps you climb with more confidence, handle technical sections, and stay in control where a regular bike — or a weaker motor — may no longer provide enough support. The system delivers up to 400% assistance, and up to 500% in Boost Mode, so the bike feels powerful while still remaining connected to your pedaling rather than simply “riding for you.”
The integrated 800Wh battery provides up to 160 km of range, with a full charge from 0 to 100% taking around 6 hours. This is especially important for eMTB riding: a larger battery gives you more freedom on long routes, where energy is used not only on flat sections, but also on climbs, technical terrain, and higher-assist riding modes.
The suspension is far from decorative. Up front, the Current ADV is equipped with a RockShox Psylo Gold 150 mm fork, while the rear uses a RockShox Deluxe Select+ 210×55 shock. This setup is built for trail riding, where the bike needs to maintain traction, absorb impacts, and stay composed on descents. Geometry with a 64.3–64.6° head tube angle, 76.6° seat tube angle, 445 mm chainstays, and 29-inch wheels makes the Current ADV stable at speed while still responsive enough for active handling.
Aventon Current ADV also comes with a modern drivetrain and trail-ready components: SRAM Eagle 70 Transmission 12-speed, SRAM XS-1270 T-Type 10–52T cassett, SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes with 200 mm rotors, and Maxxis tires — Minion DHF 29×2.5" in the front and Minion DHR II 29×2.4" in the rear. This is not just a “for show” component list, but a setup that makes sense on a real trail eMTB.
Another important part of the model is Aventon’s smart feature set: Jump Tracking, Overrun, Wheel Lift Control, 4G/GPS, Anti-Theft, Touchscreen, BOOST Mode, and AUTO Assist Mode. In the product card, this should be presented not as “gadgets for the sake of gadgets,” but as a digital system that helps you control the bike, tune the character of assistance, and add extra security when storing it.
